This piece encompasses everything I have been feeling since the pandemic. Fear, guilt, doubt, uncertainty. Regret. The writing in the background is essentially my thought process throughout all of this. Almost a journal entry. The head within the flower represents the growth of people during this time, but even now within this growth, we experience chaotic thoughts. The flower itself represents beauty, and the darker parts show how beauty can be hidden in moments like this - maybe how beauty is masked by the chaos. This was my first time doing an art piece entirely in pen, but the scribbles and mistakes within it portray how imperfect we all maybe feel during the pandemic.
